Bootique Productions is a theatrical production company based in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. Our mission is to explore classic tales of the macabre, the gothic, the thrilling and the suspenseful, with a focus on highlighting stories from and about women.
Bootique Productions was founded by Creative Director Sallyanne Scotton Moonga, an experienced playwright and theatrical director, pictured here awkwardly with her frequent collaborator and husband, Ricky Moonga.
Bootique Productions was founded on Awabakal Land. We pay our respects to elders past and present and future, and recognise that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are Australia's first storytellers, artists, communities and creators of culture. We recognise their continuing connection to the land and waters and acknowledge that they never ceded sovereignty.
